Search engine registration

If the domain has just been registered, you may need to notify search engines of the store site's address. This is not necessary if you changed domains: in that case Open2b automatically redirects from the old address to the new one so search engines update page addresses.

At the following addresses you can register the site with the two main search engines:

• Google: Add/Update a URL
• Bing: Submit your site to Bing

Check whether the store has been indexed

After registration you need to wait for the search engine to index the store and therefore make the pages available in search results. The operation could take several days or even several weeks.

To quickly check whether the store has been indexed, and which pages have been indexed, run a search on the engine by prefixing the site domain with "site:". For example, if the domain is www.nostronegozio.it then search for:
