Settings
The Settings section lets you check whether the basic settings for the eBay integration match your goals and, if needed, proceed with specific setup. To define the settings:
- Go to the Settings section. The Plan screen will open, indicating the limits of the currently active app plan.
- Click Tools.
Update VAT rates
The app retrieves the VAT rates used to calculate the VAT-inclusive amount to be published on eBay from the rates set in Open2b under Settings > VAT rates. If these are changed, the information in the app must be updated. To update:
- Go to the Settings section. The Plan screen will open, indicating the limits of the currently active app plan.
- Click Tools.
- Next to VAT rates in the admin under Settings > VAT rates have changed? click Reload VAT rates.
Update price lists
The app retrieves prices for products to publish on eBay from the price lists loaded in Open2b under Catalog > Price lists. If these price lists are changed, for example if a new one is created or an old one is deleted, the information in the app must be updated. To update:
- Go to the Settings section. The Plan screen will open, indicating the limits of the currently active app plan.
- Click Tools.
- Next to Price lists in the admin under Catalog > Price lists have changed? click Reload Price lists.
Update Store categories
The app retrieves active Store categories directly from eBay. If these are changed on eBay, for example a new one is created or an old one is deleted, you must update the information in the app as well. To update:
- Go to the Settings section. The Plan screen will open, indicating the limits of the currently active app plan.
- Click Tools.
- Next to Your Store categories have been modified on eBay? click Reload Categories.
Define the default VAT class
As for VAT classes, the app retrieves the classes set in Open2b under Settings > VAT rates. Association with listings to put on sale on eBay happens automatically. You instead need to set the VAT class directly in the app to associate with sales when they refer to listings created on eBay that do not have, or no longer have, a corresponding product in Open2b. To set or update:
- Go to the Settings section. The Plan screen will open, indicating the limits of the currently active app plan.
- Click Tools.
- Next to Default VAT class, the VAT class used for order lines when no corresponding SKU exists in the Open2b catalog will be shown. The sale price imported in eBay sales will be net of the corresponding VAT amount. To change it, click the menu of available VAT classes and select the desired one.
