Emails
In the Settings > Emails section you can set the email address where the merchant can receive communications from the online store and customize the emails sent to customers.
In the Addresses where emails are received panel you can set:

- the address where to receive confirmations of received orders.
- the address where to receive notification that a customer has registered.
In the Emails panel that are sent to customers you can select and customize the text and layout of emails in all used languages, so customers can receive emails in their own language. Email sending method
The email sending method indicates how emails are sent. There are two possible choices:
- Sendmail,
- Smtp.
Sendmail is a program, usually always present on Linux systems, that allows sending emails. Choose Sendmail if Sendmail is installed on your server and specify the path on the server where the program resides.
The SMTP server is any program running on your server or another server on the Internet that supports the SMTP protocol for sending mail. If an SMTP server is running on your server, or you have access to another SMTP server on another computer, choose Smtp and specify the host name and port on which it is running.
To configure the email sending method:
- Go to the Settings section.
- Go to the Email subsection.
- At the bottom of the page, find Email sending method and click Edit.
- Select Sendmail or Smtp.
- If you chose Sendmail, enter the server path where the sendmail program resides. If you chose Smtp, enter the host name and port where the Smtp server is running.
- Click Save.
To verify that email sending works correctly, you can use the contact us page on the site. In case of error, the page will show details.
