Languages

Open2b allows you to create stores in multiple languages. The manageable languages can be freely chosen from the many supported languages.

For each managed language you can choose the Region, meaning the geographic area of reference for the language. For example, for English you can choose the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, etc. The region choice determines the display format for numbers, dates, and currencies in your store.

For each managed language you can also choose the reference currency.

When the customer selects a given language to browse the store, Open2b updates the formatting of numbers, dates, and currencies and updates the reference currency.

Edit a language

1. Go to the Settings section.
2. Go to the Languages subsection.
3. Select the language you want to edit.
4. Make the desired changes.
5. Select Save.

Add a new language

1. Go to the Settings section.
2. Go to the Languages subsection.
3. Click New Language. A new window opens with the list of languages not yet added.
4. Select from the list the language you want to add.
5. Select the desired region for the language.
6. Select the default currency for the language.
7. Click Add.

Delete a language

1. Go to the Settings section.
2. Go to the Languages subsection.
3. Select the checkbox to the right of the language to delete.
4. Click Delete.
