Payments
Payment methods are the ways a customer can pay for the ordered products.
The customer chooses a payment method from the cart to calculate any fee cost and during checkout to select the method with which to pay for the products being ordered. Once the order is placed, if the method provides for it, they can proceed with payment on the bank or payment provider site.
After payment, they will return to the order confirmation page where they will be informed of the transaction outcome and, in case of a negative outcome, and only for payment methods that allow it, they can proceed with payment again.
In the admin you can add all traditional payment methods not directly connected to the store, such as bank transfer, cash on delivery, and bank receipt.
Create a traditional method (cash on delivery, bank transfer, etc.)
- Go to the Settings section.
- Go to the Payments subsection.
- Click New Method.
- Click Proceed.
- Enter the payment method name as it will be visible to customers, for example Bank transfer, Cash on delivery, etc.
- Set the minimum and maximum payable amount and any payment fee as desired.
- Click Add.
Once a payment method is created, customers can select it to pay for orders.
The following table lists the information you can configure:
