Collections

Collections let you choose which products to present to specific customers on the site. Open2b already lets you hide specific products from customers belonging to a specific customer group. You get this result by associating, to the customer group, a price list where the products you want to keep hidden have no price.

Collections represent a more sophisticated way to present products to selected customers (individuals or belonging to groups), for example to meet reserved or exclusive agreements or to reward loyal customers with special offers, new catalogs in preview, on dedicated pages, etc...All of this without the need to create price lists with products without prices, focusing exclusively on marketing and contracts.

There are two types of collections. Catalog Collections and Additional Collections.

• Catalog Collections: determine which products the customer will see in the store catalog, based on the criteria set, once they log in and are recognized by the system.
• Additional Collections: allow you to provide customers with one or more additional product catalogs, each with its own page.
