Shipping discount

To offer free shipping or a shipping discount you can use Open2b promotions on shipping methods. They allow both percentage and fixed discounts, with or without coupon codes.

Create a promotion with free or discounted shipping

1. Go to the Marketing section.
2. Go to the Promotions subsection.
3. Click New Promotion.
4. Select Free or discounted shipping on the cart.
5. Enter the name for the promotion.
6. Under Offer, specify whether to apply free shipping, a percentage or fixed discount, or a fixed cost.
7. Indicate which methods you want to apply it to: All shipping methods or The following shipping methods:. In the latter case, select one or more shipping methods.
8. Under Validity, choose the date range during which it will be active.
9. Under Customers, choose which customer groups it should apply to.
10. If you want the promotion to apply only when the total cart cost falls within a specific amount, under The total cart cost must be set the minimum or maximum amount, or both.
11. If you want the promotion to apply only when the customer provides a coupon code, select Only to customers who provide the coupon code and enter the coupon code.
12. If you want the promotion to be single-use, select Can be used only once by each customer (verification is done on the email).
13. Under Priority, set the priority that determines the application order among promotions on the same shipping method. It must be between 1 (highest) and 100 (lowest).
14. Choose the combination rules that determine how the promotion is combined with other promotions applied to the same shipping method.
15. Click Add.

The newly created promotion, if active and without a discount code, is shown on the store site on the promotions page and possibly on the home page. The promotion also has its own page that shows the details.
