Return management
Create a new return
- Go to the Sales section.
- Go to the Returns subsection.
- Click New Return.
- If you want to associate the return with a customer, click next to Customer and select them from the list.
- Click the + button to add a product to the return (a return must include at least one product); a new window will open.
- Select the product to return.
- Click the OK button.
- Edit the quantity, reason, comments, and status if needed.
- Repeat from step 5 to add other products to the return.
- Click Add.
Note
In the window where you select products to add to the return, only delivered products are shown, meaning those for which there is a shipment with a delivery date equal to or later than today's date. Products that have already been returned cannot be selected.
If the return is associated with a customer, initially only products from the customer's orders are shown.
Edit a return
- Go to the Sales section.
- Go to the Returns subsection.
- Select the return you want to edit.
- If you want to change the customer for the return, click next to Customer and select them from the list.
- If you want to add a new product, click the + button; a new window will open to select the product.
- If you want to edit an existing product, edit the quantity, reason, comments, and status for the product.
- Click Save.
Delete one or more returns
Note
To be deleted, a return must be in Cancelled status, meaning all products in the return must first have been set to Cancelled.
- Go to the Sales section.
- Go to the Returns subsection.
- Select the checkboxes on the right of the returns you want to delete.
- Click Delete. A new confirmation window will open.
- Verify you selected the correct returns and click OK.
