Images

You can add as many images as you want to a product, either all in the same gallery or split into different galleries, for example one gallery for each product color.

Product images are managed from the Images tab in the product detail page in the admin.

If a product does not have a first variant, you can add a single image gallery.

If a product has a first variant (in this case it is expected to be color), you can choose to show a single gallery (for example with one image per color) or multiple galleries, one for each color. In general, multiple galleries are preferable because they let customers immediately see, on the product page, the image gallery for the color they selected.

Choose between a single gallery or multiple galleries

1. Go to the Catalog section.
2. Click the product for which you want to set a single gallery or multiple galleries.
3. Select the Images tab.
4. Click Single gallery to show images in one gallery, or click Multiple galleries to show images in multiple galleries.
5. Click Save.

You can change this choice at any time; no images will be removed.

Whichever option you choose, you will then add images to the product.

Add an image to a product

1. Go to the Catalog section.
2. Click the product to which you want to add the image.
3. Select the Images tab.
4. If Multiple galleries is selected, choose the option (usually the color) for which you want to add the image.
5. Click Add. A window will open on your device highlighting JPEG images if present.
6. Select one or more images from your device. The image appears after a few moments; if you selected multiple images, wait for Open2b to complete the upload.
7. Click the < and > arrows to place the image in the desired order.
8. Click Save.

Change a product image

1. Go to the Catalog section.
2. Click the product for which you want to change an image.
3. Select the Images tab.
4. If Multiple galleries is selected, choose the option (usually the color) related to the image you want to change.
5. Click the thumbnail of the image to change.
6. Click Change. A window will open.
7. Select the new image from your device. After a few moments the image will appear in place of the previous one.
8. Click Save.

Delete a product image

1. Go to the Catalog section.
2. Click the product for which you want to delete the image.
3. Select the Images tab.
4. If Multiple galleries is selected, choose the option (usually the color) related to the image you want to delete.
5. Click the thumbnail of the image to delete.
6. Click Delete.
7. Click Save.

Pinterest

Pinterest is an image-sharing social network, including product images. It is a very popular promotion channel, and Open2b lets you publish product images to Pinterest directly from the admin.

Publish a product image on Pinterest

1. Go to the Catalog section.
2. Click the product for which you want to publish the image.
3. Select the Images tab.
4. If Multiple galleries is selected, choose the option (usually the color) related to the image you want to publish.
5. Click the thumbnail of the image to change.
6. Click Pin it. A window will open.
7. Click the language for which you want to publish the image. A window will open.
8. Log in to Pinterest and follow the instructions.
