Margin by SKU

Shows real-time estimated profit margins for individual SKUs. Margin is defined as the difference between sale price and cost price, relative to the sale price.

This is an indicative value, since the cost price may refer only to the purchase price of the SKU, or it may include other costs not directly related to the purchase. It can still give an idea of products that yield higher margins when sold.

The cost price used in the statistics is the price in the price list used to indicate costs. The price list can be set in Open2b under Catalog > Price Lists by clicking Change... next to Price list with cost prices used in statistics:

Field Description
SKU code Inventory SKU code. Indicates the SKU of a specific product sold on the site or other channels.
Product name Name of the product sold on the site or other sales channels.
Sale price Sale price of a SKU, assigned to a specific customer group.
Cost price Cost price associated with the SKU.
Margin Difference between sale price and cost price, relative to the sale price.
